Intel Corporation is the world's largest manufacturer of integrated circuits.

This American company was the creator of the entire range of x86 processors for PC. They are the most commonly found processors in most personal computers.

It was founded on July 18, 1968 under the name of "Integrated Electronics Corporation" known mostly by the name of Intel.

Its creators were Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore, with the executive assistance of Andrew Grove.

It is based in Santa Clara (California) in the well-known "Silicon Valley".

Intel supplies processors to manufacturers such as Apple, Lenovo, Hewlett Packard, Dell, etc.

Intel also makes motherboards, as well as network controllers and other types of integrated circuits. It was also one of the first manufacturers of SRAM and DRAM memory chips.
