PII Xeon
Story
The Pentium II Xeon is a range of specialized processors for servers and workstations.
The first of them was baptized with the name of Drake and manufactured in a 250 nm technology in June 1998.
It was based on the Pentium II processor and used a new socket called "Slot 2".

Slot 2
Slot 2 was rarely used, as it was made only for Intel PII Xeon and Intel Pentium III Xeon processors.
This slot had 330-pin electrical connections and was aimed at the high-end server and workstation market.
This format, like Slot 1, was soon abandoned as subsequent generations of Xeon processors reverted to the horizontal format.
