In the case of the AMD 80486, we can apply the same rule as in the previous model (80386).
The AMD 486 always achieved a higher processing speed than its competition at Intel.
These processors were very good for "overclocking", that is, we could run a processor at a higher speed than what its specifications actually indicated, according to the manufacturer, without fear of destroying the processor.
Personally, I had an AMD 486 DX2-50 for a long time, which according to specifications worked at 50 MHz, running indefinitely at 66 MHz, without having a single problem.
